If the subscription was sold by a dealer, installation for the 6 or 12 sensor probe is done through ServiceSpy in AgSpy by a dealer or global admin. Either the subscription Manager or Assign Subscription feature is used for creating new sites, seasons, and assigning subscriptions. Subscriptions are assigned to sites. Subscriptions may be transferred from one site to another. Historical Seasons for a site are maintained.
The subscriber will manage the installation for multi-year terms through the Crophesy mobile app which is downloaded via the Google Play Store or Apple. Subscribers may purchase multi-year service bundles with 3, 6 or 12 sensor probes and will be billed monthly.
If the grower buys via credit card and installs using the Crophesy mobile app, this is a subscriber only model and the subscription is assigned to the probe. If the grower transfers it to another site, the subscription follows the probe, not the site. This means that, unlike typical dealer subscriptions, they can ONLY be assigned to the specified subscriber.
No. Each season is set up as a distinct site, the benefit being that the grower can move the probes around.
Currently you may only place orders for one type of sensor per site, for example, all 36 month subscriptions for battery-powered wireless 3-sensor probes. We suggest if the grower wants to use a mix, say, a single 12-sensor and multiple 3-sensor so that they create these as two sites.
This will trigger an error. If the grower needs to switch to a different sensor than has been assigned, then you will need to create a new site.
This will cause the installation to fail. The numbers of subscriptions must match the number of equipment to be installed.
