1. Download Crophesy Mobile App from Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Whoever installs the probe must have the app installed. The app will record the location of install. The probe GPS data will be preferred over phone GPS.
2. Identify Ideal Installation Location
3. Turn ON probe and you’ll hear a voice state it’s active. Only wait for first power on beep and firmware version.
4. Turn OFF probe until ready to install. This prevents it from taking a sample in air.
5. Dig a hole with the tapered auger that came with the probe.
6. Insert sensor into the ground up to appropriate Zone marker. Do not insert past this point. Add slurry to hole (recommended). Work the probe into hole. Get air bubbles out. Cover in. *
7. Click Manage Devices
8. Click New Install
9. Scan bar code using phone camera or type the S/N into the app. Use the Mobile app to read the bar code on the side of the sensor to retrieve probe serial number and associate the sensor with location and crop.
10. Select crop type, enter plant date.
11. Select Zone: Two zone markers on the side of probe indicate depth. Zone 1 Bottom Sensor at 12 inches - Zone 2 Bottom Sensor at 16 inches.
12. Enter Site Name
13. Submit. Install will now be in pending state.
As long as the Crophesy app is running, every 15 min the app will automatically
attempt to complete install. Once the probe has successfully checked in with
all necessary data, install completes. You can verify by looking at pending
install list. The app will continue to attempt the install for 24 hours. If
unsuccessful, press retry button and it will try again for 24 hours.
